A tower of luxurious, jewel-toned cushions is reimagined in solid papier-mâché, stacked in a playful, slightly off-balance column. Each pillow is diamond-shaped with bright tassels at the corners, suggesting softness and motion despite the rigid material.

The colors move from deep purples and blacks with ornate, almost baroque patterns at the base, through bold violet and black abstractions, to vivid green with organic, leafy forms, and up to rich blue and teal crowned with starry, celestial motifs. Metallic accents—silver and gold—add a sense of opulence and fantasy. The sculpture feels like a stack of enchanted pillows from a storybook, frozen at the edge of tipping, blending decorative design with whimsical, theatrical drama
