Fish - ''WANDA''

Fish - ''WANDA''
IURI SHUBLADZE
This papier-mâché artwork depicts a stylized fish composed entirely of small, rounded beads or droplets built up in relief. The body forms a rhythmic zigzag of vertical fins, creating a lively, almost musical silhouette.
Golden-brown beads dominate the upper portion, gradually giving way to white and off-white beads toward the lower body and tail, suggesting light shimmering on scales. The fish has a small round eye with a black pupil and a bright red, slightly protruding mouth that adds a playful, cartoon-like character. Set against a plain background, the piece feels bold and graphic, combining a simple fish outline with a richly textured, tactile surface.
